Facebook Sex Subliminal
I will first point out, that I am not the discoverer of this subliminal. I had no idea until a few minutes ago actually that this existed, but its truly startling, and right in hundreds of millions of peoples faces daily when they go to log in.

A quick search on this subliminal took me to Dwerg's post on reface.me
So its not just me, it is right there hidden in plain sight.
So I guess I should tell you oh reader how subliminals work. You look at a photograph in a newspaper, what do you see? maybe a page 3 model? or a politician meeting a delegate from another country. Or an advertisment. Needless to say, you see whatever you are expected to see by the photographer. You also see what YOU expect to see. as dictated by your own social values, fears, inner turmoils and conflicts, political leanings, sexual interests and so on. Your concious brain will tell you what is there based on this, and ignore anything that may affect you negatively..like the elephant in the room.
However, your subconcious mind will record everything, and store everything, while you conciously block it all out. The information, including the subliminal will however remain there, being accessed as if it was a normal memory. Its only ignored conciously in order to protect your ego. This memory will affect your instinctive behaviour. Think of a girl looking at an ad for perfume, which may have a massive SEX subliminal in there - the girl a few weeks later Goes to the shopping mall, walks into a perfume store and sees that very brand. She just HAS to buy it. No reasoning, she just wants it.
That is how it works. its simple and effective and its probably one of many reasons for the rise of facebook, curious how it is on the LOGIN page and nowhere else :)

Not all are linked because it is meant to be suggestive of those who use it, not all of your friends are friends with the rest of your friends! You may have overlaps within certain circles but it is unlikely that 100% of the average amount of friends (130 I think it said somewhere) would have all the rest of them as well. Even if they did then what would happen to their other friends from places outside of this circle?!

Muhunty, The power of subliminals is recognised scientifically. theres plenty of sites which catalogue these things, they tend to be used by the most powerful companies around. take a look at my from virgin to whore post..theres a subliminal on the sign as the train leads into the station, one that the majority of people would never pick up on.
