More "I've been to hell" videos on youtube
Once again we have a Hell video on youtube. As always I ignore the content of the video, because its heresy. However we have another interesting caption beneath it that I wish to answer. Firstly however I want to address these styles? types? of video. Genres?
Firstly, to say that anyone has been to hell and come back is just plain stupid. Hell is not a holiday resort, its a place of destruction, its like throwing the rubbish into the garbage disposal. In fact - thats exactly what hell is! God is going to make a new heaven and a new earth, and he's going to populate it with US - that is - those who had faith and believed in him! His obedient sheep will be given fresh green pastures, springs of eternal water, and forever he will be our good shepherd.
Those who were disobedient will be cast away, just as those factory bred sheep are led away to slaughter.
Pretty much, thats all this is about! Its not about legalism, its about obedience to God, not by doing stuff right or wrong, but about in our hearts..we can sin and still love God, but its just that when we sin we tend to love ourselves more than him - yes that is a problem, but its not a death sentence for the saved, its a stumbling block that through prayer and communion with God through Jesus will be removed - this is sanctification. If you are saved, there IS NO WAY you are going to hell. In fact, if you are saved by God on Monday, sin on Tuesday, and die on Wednesday without repenting of it, it doesnt matter - God has saved you, you will enter his rest.
That is not to say we shouldnt repent, yes we should, but its more about Him than us, it represents his salvation, but it doesnt mean salvation. Salvation comes from his grace [loving kindness] poured out upon us. Its like infant baptism, it doesnt save, how many people throughout history were led to believe that an unbaptised baby would be in hell? thousands, hundreds of thousands. Then one man [John Wycliffe] comes along and says NO, this is unscriptural! Baptism is simply a foreshadowing of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, it is from the heart, not from external things - that God judges us.
So, these videos come along, apparently prophetic visions, some kid gets a "message from God" and sees a Christian woman in Hell. Now that should raise your eyebrow. A Christian in Hell? Apparently Jesus Christ's death on the cross wasn't good enough? Yes, this is blasphemy.
You see, if you don't do enough good, it doesnt matter what happened to Jesus in your place, you will burn. If you have a sin you haven't repented of, you're going to hell! [missing the whole point of repentance].
The title of this should actually be "Lady who professed Christianity will be destroyed in Hell". You see, then it would be scriptural, okay..it would still be a demonic lie [in that this is likely the source of this so-called vision], but it would be representative of the biblical view. "You are either WITH me OR AGAINST me", Jesus told his disciples, your house is either on rock OR on sand. So this lady was either Christian and saved, or an unsaved Pagan. Jesus said it again when he pointed out "On that day many will say to me 'Lord did we not prophecy in your name, and in your name cast out demons?' and I [Jesus] will say to them 'depart from me you workers of lawlessness, I never [notice that] knew you".
I NEVER KNEW YOU.
Not - as they make out - "I saved you, but you didnt repent!" If Jesus died for you...thats it! So lets look at what the uploader wrote about this video:

I have pretty much refuted all this, as a "believer" I find it shocking how anyone could believe that unrepented sin condemns a saved person to Hell. There is a time this sort of stuff would have shocked me and scared me but now it just turns my stomach that people could fall for it. The whole point of this demonic deception is to scare christians into leaving the faith. If this is too hard for you you may just give up, obviously that may be pre-ordained, but..regardless you are saved if you believe that Jesus died for you on the cross. If you do then you are saved!
The idea of 'unrepented sin' comes from modern works salvation doctrines that preach lies and deception. Remember that Jesus died on the cross for a reason, any sin you could possibly remember and repent of is covered, as well as all those sins you cannot remember. IF YOU COULD GO TO HELL FOR UNREPENTED SIN EVERY SINGLE CHRISTIAN WHO HAS EVER LIVED WOULD BE IN HELL!
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:6
If you are afraid that these videos may be right, I would suggest that you find a place in the bible that says anything about a place called hell that resembles what I know will be mentioned in that video [despite me not seeing it]. Hell is not a torture chamber, Hell is not a place where demons abuse humans, Hell is not a place where people become skeletons then their flesh is restored, Hell is not a place where people cry out to Jesus and Jesus weeps over them powerlessly and warns little african girls to "tell the world". I exhort you with everything that I am, to ignore, denounce, even report these videos. Do not be deceived, Satan can appear as an angel of light, and he will use every device at his disposal to make your journey through life as hard as he can. If he can make you question the sovereignty of God over his own people! What more can he make you question..the resurrection? the Spirit? Your own salvation? Maybe he could make you hate God? Maybe you could denounce God?
